he anthurium cut flowers were first exported to the United Arab Emirates in August, 2006 and after that the tr�s beau flowers found their destinations in London, Japan and Australia during 2007 and 2008. Anthurium flower has made Mizoram known to other states prompting the state Tourism department to organise �Anthurium Kut� or festival every year since 2006 at the Reiek Tourist Resort, about one hour�s drive from Aizawl which attracts tourists from around the globe. The cultivation of rose has also played a great part in the horticulture success story in Mizoram.
